THANK-YOU

"We pour out our miseries,
God just hears a melody.

Beautiful the mess we are,
The honest prayers of broken hearts . . .
Are better than a hallelujah."

I wonder if a "thank you" whispered in the dark, a "thank you" when the tears won't stop, a "thank you" in the middle of the "whys," well I wonder, do they too sound better than a hallelujah?

There are days when it's dark. Yet even in the darkness, we can't deny His light.

There are still tears, but also much, much laughter.

And though I still ask why, the answers just don't seem as important.

So Father, THANK-YOU.

This is my HALLELUJAH.
