ALL

"The hopes and fears of all the years are met in Thee tonight."

Because God came, to be with us, all of our hopes and all of our fears are safe with Him.

"Behold, the virgin shall be with child, and bear a Son, and they shall call His name Immanuel, which is translated, God with us."  Matthew 1:23

 There is no hope, there is no fear, that He doesn't understand. Jesus came for them all. 

 "For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all points tempted as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need". Hebrews 4:15-16 

I have so many hopes, and so many fears.

May they all be laid down at the manger.

And at the cross.

"O come to us, abide with us, Our Lord Immanuel!"
