SUNDAY

"We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that He has already thrown open His doors to us.
We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand-out in the wide open spaces of God's grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise."
Romans 5:2
The Message

  1. Dear Cheri, After reading Traveling Advice & moving back to this scripture from Romans, I see a strong connection. ( I was reading Joni's new book about her & Ken's love story just yesterday, in which she says shockingly "cancer is a gift". Then she proceeds to tell the good things God has brought out of it.) I think a better question than why might be "how does this bring glory to God?" I'm sorry I sound preachy but I have a mentally disabled son & also a daughter struggling with mental illness, so I understand questioning God! When I can see His glory, it brings me to praise Him! It's a little like "walking on water". Thank you for sharing your testimony, I see beauty there! Love & prayers, in Jesus, Cynthia

  2. I LOVE the birds, the sunrise or set, the water and the Word. Worth a big grin.

    Thank you.

  3. Amen. Grateful for those wide open spaces and how they draw us closer to Him.
